What an incredible experience Apimell 2025 was—productive and... sweet! From March 7 to 9, we at Eurocoding took part in this beekeeping trade fair as guests at the DTM Print stand, and just like bees, we worked diligently to achieve outstanding results.
Sunday was a bit quieter, but that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm that accompanied us throughout the event! With the presence of Andreas Hoffmann, Managing Director of DTM Print, we set up the stand and were eager to showcase our exceptional printing solutions to the public.
During the fair, we demonstrated our innovative printing technology in action, showing how it can enhance both branding and packaging. The audience was mainly composed of beekeepers, horticulturists, and small artisans, who showed great interest in our printers. Since many of them were unfamiliar with such technology, we kept our technical explanations brief—"pollinating" them with just the right amount of information—while focusing on practical demonstrations that highlighted the benefits of our solutions. One key takeaway was how printing your own labels with a DTM Print printer can lead to significant savings compared to outsourcing label production.
The LX610e printer was the true star of the event, thanks to its printing and cutting capabilities, allowing the creation of custom tamper-evident seals with pre-die-cut labels. This feature is crucial in the honey industry, where ensuring product integrity is essential.
Tamper-evident labels provide consumers with safety and quality assurance, and the LX610e proved to be a game-changer in this type of labeling, surpassing traditional solutions.
We also showcased the CX86e, another innovative product that captured attention.
Thanks to its LED technology, this printer can print on common media, unlike traditional inkjet printers that require specialized paper. Additionally, since it uses dry toner instead of liquid ink, the CX86e offers true on-demand printing, eliminating the risk of clogged printheads—an incredible advantage for those seeking efficiency and reliability.
Another highlight at our stand was the brand-new LX4000e color label printer, perfect for creating high-quality on-demand labels. These printers are ideal for enhancing honey jars and other beekeeping products, bringing a professional and colorful touch to every package!
Among our range of label applicators, the AP380e was particularly well received. This semi-automatic label applicator is perfect for cylindrical and tapered containers, such as bottles and jars. With features like an integrated liner rewinder and increased application speed, this model proved to be a valuable ally for precise and efficient label application.
