After the restyling in the body design of the industrial printer range models made last spring, CAB is also being renewed in a software key, with the release of the X4 firmware update for EOS2/EOS5, MACH 4S, SQUIX, XD Q, HERMES Q, AXON and PX Q printers.

The new version 5.42 comes after a series of continuous developments and revisions to allow for new features and easier modes of use.

extended [BIN:] command to support hex byte sequences without using a comma as separator

new status bar icon which indicates a data interface set to ZPL mode
fixed reading and deleting of files using ^ID command within the same label
