Unlike other food printers that print wafer paper, glaze sheets or pods, which must then be glued to baked goods or confectionery, EDDIE, thanks to its edible inks, is able to print in color directly on food! How does it work?
Quick and easy: The machine prints up to 6 products per minute, depending on product size and actual print design. Included in the package, there is a carousel, which by rotating, places the foods one at a time, on the arm of the printer, thus allowing insertion under the printhead.
The rotational printing process is completely automatic, and does not require operator intervention!
In addition, different variants of trays are available, which can be placed on the carousel or directly on the print arm, depending on the size of the image on the product to be processed!
EDDIE is the first and only NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified edible ink desktop printer for printing on cookies and other food products.
Unlike modified consumer printers, EDDIE is designed to be used in food processing environments, to meet all hygiene standards. Stainless steel housing, easy-to-clean components, and FDA and EU-approved certified ink make EDDIE the safest direct food printer in its class.
